How Much Does It Cost to Homeschool with Time4Learning?

Time4Learning is based on a month-to-month subscription model. A monthly subscription for students also provides access to the grade below and the grade above the student’s current level. Subscriptions can be started, stopped, and paused at any time.

For PreK to 5th grade, student membership costs $29.95 per month for the first student. A monthly subscription for students in grades 1-7 also provides access to all instructional materials for the grade below and the grade above the student’s current level. Monthly membership costs for each middle or high schooler is $39.95 per student, and this includes 7 courses. Making Sense of Homeschooling Curriculum Costs

Most homeschool curricula are priced according to one of these five structures:

  • monthly subscription fee (usually for web-based programs)

  • individual course purchase (usually includes all necessary materials for one course)

What other expenses should I expect?

Some curriculum, like Time4Learning and IXL®, come complete with standard subjects, such as math, science, language arts, and history. This curriculum may also provide a language or writing course, but this is often considered extra education and may have a cost.

IXL® offers the addition of Spanish to any membership option for either $5 per month, or $40 per year. Time4Learning offers Time4Languages, which offers a 6-month language course in ten different languages for $59.95 per course.
