Time4Learning and Abeka® Homeschool Costs

No matter how great a homeschool curriculum program is, if it doesn’t fit into your family’s budget, it’s not the right choice for you. That’s why many families often start off their curriculum research by focusing in on specific costs of programs they are interested in. This quickly narrows down your options and helps make your decision less overwhelming.

Are you wondering about Time4Learning and Abeka® pricing? Let’s first look at the different ways homeschool curriculum are usually priced and then compare the pricing structure of Time4Learning to the Abeka® homeschool cost.

Making Sense of Homeschooling Curriculum Costs

The type of pricing structure a curriculum uses is often closely tied to how the program is meant to be used. For programs that are designed to be “all-inclusive,” for example, a package or tuition structure is most common. Single-subject curricula, or programs that are meant to be supplemental, on the other hand, will often be priced on an individual basis.

Most homeschool curricula are priced according to one of these five structures:

  • monthly subscription fee (usually for web-based programs)
  • individual component purchase (such as textbook, video, download, teacher’s guide, etc.)
  • individual course purchase (usually includes all necessary materials for one course)
  • bundled package purchase (usually includes all necessary materials for one or more courses)
  • semester or yearly tuition (primarily for online schools)

Understanding these common options will help put things in perspective when you contrast Time4Learning’s home schooling fees with Abeka’s®.
